Entry and IdentificationAll guests 18+ must present valid ID. Small children are permitted but must be accompanied by a parent at all times and must leave the venue before 8pm. Please arrive before your booking time as entry can be busy.

General Table BookingsAll table bookings are made online via the reservations button. We do not take bookings over the phone. Table bookings are available for up to 20 people. Public Holiday SurchargeWe have a 15% surcharge on public holidays to cover additional staffing.

Is there a charge to make a booking?Your booking is confirmed with your credit card, but no charges are made at this time. The card guarantees your reservation, and a $20 per person fee will only be charged only if your group does not show. To avoid this fee, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. No charge applies for 1 or 2 people not attending.

Responsible Service of AlcoholEach person gets a wristband for access to all bars in the venue. RSA rules prohibit excessive drink loading. If a group exceeds 2 standard drinks per person or 1 share jug per 2 people, we may remove drinks to comply with RSA regulations.

What times can I book the POW WOWThursday 12pm - 9pm (last booking) Friday 12pm - 9pm (last booking) Saturday 10am - 5pm (last booking) Sunday 11am - 5pm (last booking) Your booking will go for 2 hours from when you book. e.g. if you book at 5pm, your booking will go til 7pm.

What if there is someone in my group that does not want the package?Everyone in your group must be on the package to be able to redeem it. No exceptions. Everyone in your group must be on the same package (e.g. all $85 or all upgraded). Non-drinkers? We offer a full range of mocktails in the package. Giving drinks to others outside your group will result in immediate ejection with no refunds. We follow Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines. Service will be denied if you appear intoxicated.

How many people do I need to get the POW WOW all inclusive package?Minimum 4 guests / Maximum 20 guests To book, head to the reservations button and enter a minimum of 4 people. Available times will pop up. If your time is not available, it means we are fully booked and you will need to try another day or time. If you have over 20 guests, head to our functions tab to see options we have available for you.

I have dietary requirementsWe offer two menu options: standard and dietary. If you have additional needs, let us know when you arrive, and we'll do our best to accommodate.

POW WOW PaymentEach person pays and selects their dietary menu upon arrival. Alternatively you can make one payment for your group. We do not take pre-payment for your POW WOW.

Where do we sit?Groups of 12 or more have designated reserved seating. For smaller groups, feel free to choose any unreserved table.

Decorations and CakesSmall decorations like table balloons are welcome. No confetti products allowed. Bringing a cake incurs a $30 fee, which includes refrigeration, cake plate, knife, crockery, and cutlery.

Function Session TimesWe have 2 sessions throughout the day: 1-5pm or 6-10pm We will try to accommodate special requests however no guarantee is made. Please note after your function, the space is open to the public or to the next function.

MusicWe offer a curated playlist for the venue. A DJ can be provided for full venue events and Breeze Bar events at an additional cost.

Do we do outside concert eventsYes we do. This would incur a full venue minimum spend and would not be permitted on Friday and Saturday nights. A proposal must be submitted for revue.

Function booking Terms & ConditionsFunction spaces are subject to availability and are only confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. To secure your function, we require a $500 deposit or 10% for amounts over $10k. Final payments, food and beverage selections, dietary requirements, and guest numbers are due 14 days prior to your booking. Please note: Food and beverage numbers must be finalised 14 days before the event. Any reduction in numbers may incur produce costs and 10% of your function cost. If final payment is not received by this time, your function may be cancelled, and the deposit forfeited. Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposit refunds are as follows: 30 days or more: Full deposit refund 14 to 30 days: 50% of deposit refunded 7 to 14 days: Deposit retained by the venue Less than 7 days: Full minimum food and beverage spend charged If the minimum spend is not met, the remaining amount will be treated as venue hire and will not be refunded. Menu and pricing are subject to change at management's discretion. All guests must adhere to entry conditions, including dress code, responsible service of alcohol, and behaviour. Summa House will take care of your property, but we are not responsible for any belongings. The event organiser is financially responsible for any damage to the venue caused by guests or decorations. Please confirm with management before attaching decorations to any fixtures. All equipment provided by the event coordinator must be approved by management. We are not responsible for any damage to your equipment or decorations. Please note that outside DJs or bands are not permitted for private functions.

Wet weatherSumma House is an open-air venue, so please consider this when booking. Each table comes with a weather proof umbrella or Gazebo. We also have some small pop up Gazebo's available. For large event marquee coverage, an extra charge applies. All bookings are confirmed upon payment, regardless of weather. No refunds will be offered due to weather conditions.
